Question Chrome hates flash swf's now?

Well it's an issue a few years old. We knew Google wanted to ax flash, but the thing is if I want to play SWF's in chrome, there is no way.

There are tons of questions you can find about this issue, but none of them explain nor provide a solution.

Honestly it's just really really strange that I haven't even found an explanation for why this is the case. Please at least set this issue to rest for me because I HAVE also infrequently seen people say things like they found a fix.

Explanation:

Overall there was not enough money to be made or it cost too much money to continue doing so.

The reasons, either way, likely involve legal matters, security, data harvesting, proprietary intentions, etc..

Consider: if the solution was just some technical/software fix that resulted in profits - the issue would likely be moot by now.

Wow ok. That sucks.

And I thought it was purely security reasons. But that shouldn't explain why Firefox doesn't like it either. In any case thanks.
