The connection was reset

Try:
- Checking the connection
- Checking the proxy and the firewall
- Running Connectivity Diagnostics

ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

This is a known issue with the Natwest Online Bank, and from my experience anyway, on machines using McAffee Firewall, but I can't find any way to access the firewall settings to get round this issue.

I too have started having the same problem as tob_ewalker when I try to log into TD Bank online using my Chromebook. I get a similar error message - which is:

This site can’t be reached

easyweb.td.com took too long to respond.

Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Connectivity Diagnostics
ERR_TIMED_OUT

There is nothing wrong with my WiFi connection. My signal strength is 71. I also ran the Connectivity Diagnostics and everything passed. I have a direct internet connection (no proxy). The only thing I can't do (or know how to do) is check Firewall settings on a Chromebook. I don't even know if Chromebooks have (or even need) Firewall settings.

I wish I had an answer for you. I don't have access to any other operating systems to see if it's just a Chrome OS issue, but am hoping that if you or anyone else reading this have found a solution to this problem that you will send it my way. Many Thanks!
