I am currently trying to access my personal computer from college however the college network does not allow me to grant extended access to the PC. I keep getting a notification saying that the authentication has failed and I need to sign in again, therefore I am unable to connect. Is there any fix or work around for this?

Ps. I wasn't quite sure which category this should be under so if any mods want to move it then feel welcome 😉

Solution
That's because your school uses an SSL-stripping proxy server to decrypt all traffic passing through it's internet connection, so they can content-filter even when you use https:// links.

Chrome is upset, because your school is intercepting the traffic.

Not trying to bypass security, just wanted to know if there was a way I could use remote desktop without first installing the program on the school computer(which is the bit I'm not allowed to do).

Actually I'm not, the problem is that it is an open network and so chrome thinks someone is trying to hack me, and so wont authorize me when I try to grant extended access. I was asking if there was any way to make chrome believe it was secure.

Now just to clarify for you one more time, I am NOT(I reiterate, NOT) trying to bypass a security system....
I have attached a picture just in case it helps to have the error code
