Question Chromebook issue with USB - C dock supplied.

Hello,

My work supplied me with a Chromebook Asus flip one and also this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Mul...68HM/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=belkin+4+in+1&sr=8-3.

This works great but the only issue is the cable from it is too short and it means the hub and cable are hanging from the side of my chromebook and putting a lot of strain on the cable and the input.

Is there anyway I can extend this cable without running into any problems ?

It does a lot of things it's allows me to use an external monitor, it's also the input for the ethernet connection as the chrome book doesn't have an ethernet port and it charges my laptop using the pass through. I'm worried if I buy a cheap extension USB C cable one or all of these functions might be useless or it won't work at all.

The solution would be to buy a good quality extension cable that fully supports all USB-C features. Here's one for your consideration. It's one metre long.
