Chromebook won't connect to RCA TV

I'm having trouble connecting my Asus Chromebook to my RCA TV via an HDMI cable. The chromebook shows that it is connected to the TV, and the browser is open but not displayed on my laptop screen. The TV is on the right output (plugged into HDMI 1 and on HDMI 1) but the TV only shows a blue screen with "no signal." Please help me!!

Try pressing Ctrl+F4 when the tv is connected.
