Chromecast vs Digital Media Deviuce

Google Chromecast device doesn't show in anywhere device manager attached to VIZIO Smart TV in LR. But the bedroom room TV(Samsung 46" Smarthub TV )does appear. I can cast thru Chrome browser to the Chromecast device but not to Samsung TV. It makes no sense to me Also WiFi enabled Samsung BlueRay player in LR doesn't show up anywhere except in device list inside the cable modem IP address list. Any one with ideas?. I'm running newly acquired win 10 HP laptop. Same thing was occurring on HP lap top Win 8.1.

Do you have a Chromecast plugged into each device. Maybe the Samsung has it built in and the vizio doesn't if you do that actually have two devices
