Hi All!

Hi all,

Just doin' Chronicles again - I'm on the 'escape with the iris' level, I've
just climbed up the long chain in the elevator shaft and I'm standing on the
platform at the top. I think I need to long jump onto the horizontal pole
opposite and slightly above me, Is that right? as I can't seem to grab it.
Has anyone else had trouble here? any tips please? If this is a bug is there
a fix for it??

Thanks

DaveB

There was a Dave Burt-fly buzzing about my ear, and I could have sworn
it said (Some time around 01/17/2005 07:54 AM)...

I don't remember grabbing the pole being the hard part. Seriously, I
had the problem of knowing where it was. I believe you may be looking
at the wrong pole.

I know that sounds a little ridiculous, but I distinctly remember
falling several times trying to jump to the wrong spot. IIRC, there was
a bit of an optical illusion going on there.

Try and take a harder look at it. Like I said, once I figured out what
I was supposed to be jumping for, it was dismally easy (meaning, I felt
kinda stupid :) )

That pole - do not try to grab it, as it is too large to grab. If you
notice, at the bottom of pole there are two surfaces: the one pole ends
at is normal horizontal one, the adjacent one is inclined. If you jump
backwards from wrong spot you will fall onto that inclined surface.
Instead pick right spot so that when you jump you hit that large pole
and fall straightly downwards onto that desired surface.
