I have my CPU overclocked using the ASUS 5 way optimization to 4.9 Ghz. My scores on Cinebench are running around 850 which seems like the standard for running at the base clock speed 4.0 Ghz.
Was also running Unigine Valley and getting low frame rates and scores Max 66.5 fps @2560*1440

Cheers and thanks

Yes I know that and have tested scores single core, CPU and open GL. I'm mainly focusing on the CPU score.

Thanks, how to check if so?

Hi, I have HW monitor already thanks. I gave up on the auto OC utility and just started to manually OC. For now I left it at 4.5 Ghz and was getting temps no higher than 71C. I left the voltage in Auto and it didn't go over 1.27. I then checked it on Cinebench and immediately am getting higher scores.
Still some weird bugs to work out though, CPU fan reading NA once I use the fan tuning utility. I'm still expecting much better performance out of two 980Ti's as far as frame rate. I have not overclocked the GPU's yet.
The CPU was doing exactly that, one sec 4.0, then 4.9, then 3.8 etc...

i7 6700k scores 888 and 182 single core here on stock speed. OpenGL score of 155 on R9 390. Ram is Hx 2400 MHz cl12 16 GB, no paging file. Just for reference.
