Cisco Academy Opinions

I have an opportunity to attend the Cisco academy so I was wondering is it worth it? What are your opinions?

Cisco technicians can be highly valued in the enterprise sector. For small/medium businesses, I'm not so sure since many businesses use other products like watchguard and fortinet that are a bit more friendly to IT staff who have to wear multiple hats. Depends on your career path and what you want to do.
