Solution
The default is both user name and password blank.

If someone set this differently you need to perform a factory reset. To do that reset you need to press and hold the reset button on the rear of the device. Hold it for 30 seconds, then without releasing the reset button pull the power cable from the rear of the device. Continue to hold the reset button after it's been powered down for another 30 seconds and then plug the power back in. Continue holding the reset button, allow another 30 seconds after you've plugged the power back in. This should set the user name and password back to blank.

will this effect my internet at all
so if ido it no one in my house hold would notice anything different after it happened

Ya sure you can factory reset a device and NO ONE will notice.

That is the whole purpose of this method of reset. You can completely reconfigure it which is no issue if you are authorized but there is no way you can possibly get it back the way it was since you still don't know the passwords. If you know all the keys and passwords then you do not need to factory reset it. It is designed to be noticed
