I recently picked Civ 5 G&K back up and have been playing it a lot over the past month. It had been working great until the past few days. Right around the time the Windows 10 Creators update was pushed onto my computer, Civ 5 started freezing on the loading screen. I think it actually started doing this a day or 2 before the update, but I'm not 100% sure (wasn't paying that close attention at the time).
Anyway, it gets to the loading screen just fine, but then it just hangs up there and never makes it to the main menu. The music continues to play, but it doesn't respond to anything I do. Task manager also says that it's not responding and it takes a while to force it to end task.
I've tried running it with Windows 8 and DX11 compatibility modes (I have DX12). I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Any other drivers or settings I should check into?
