hello i'm having a problem checking for updates and downloading them.
upon clean install checking for windows updates for the first time it took 3hrs for the list to show
then another 2hrs for them to download. (also download % stayed at 0%) after that i shutdown and saw the 248 updates installing.
but why is it taking a full day to check / download updates?
never had to put this much time into updating my pc.
my internet? when i was at my friends house i was able to check n download updates very snappy 3min wait for updates to show list on a 756kbps connection but my connection is 60mbps.
i'm starting to think ports?
also when i view update history it shows nothing but i goto installed updates and it shows all.
soo i hit check for updates and it took mehhyb 4mins this time
