Clean install of Win 10 from usb, now unable to connect to internet

Clean install of Windows 10, now unable to connect to the internet via ethernet. I get the error "no network adapter drivers" or "651" and it will not let me update the driver what do I do?

I've tried to, I constantly get an error when trying to install the drivers.

and the error? what the system spec?

It says there are no Intel drivers present on the pc when i'm trying to install the network adapter drivers. When updating the drivers it times out every time and does not give me the option of an Ethernet connection.

I5 7600k / 1080 FE / Gigabyte z270xp-SLI / 32GB

I just wiped the ssd, booted it off of the windows usb I made from my other pc and it works, just waiting on recent updates. I think the Windows USB I bought a couple years ago was the problem maybe, I'm not sure.

from a working pc, get the latest iso from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
install windows 10
get drivers from https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z270XP-SLI-rev-10#support-dl-driver
