[SOLVED] Clean Install of Windows 10 keeps giving me blue screens

Hello,

My computer has been failing on me a lot recently, but I thought, no big deal, I need to do a big clean up anyway, so might as well start over on a blank slate with a fresh install of Windows 10. I just completed it, but my issues keep happening.

I keep getting crashes with the following error messages :
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
The crashes happen mostly when doing any demanding thing, rendering, gaming, multitasking, etc. Everything seems to run fine when just browsing the web or other things.

I made a post on the Microsoft Forums to try and figure it all out, the agent that helped came to the conclusion that it is hardware related, and that I should seek some advice on here instead. Here is the thread : https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...-me-blue/0520a362-1ecf-4c23-bc44-58260c1257bf

I also have this OneDrive file with all the disagnostics and crash dumps I provided him, if you wanna take a look. https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=!AC9N7FpGaPGjOvE&id=AE0C5A350A7A73AB!1732&cid=AE0C5A350A7A73AB

He had me perform a memory test, I did 9 passes with no issues. I also tried another set of identical RAM and same thing happenned. Could it be related to my board at this point?

Thanks.

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/05agc83j/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

so you ran memtest 9 times?

what are specs of the PC? the dumps will show a little but not what drives you have or what PSU

If it still crashes after a clean install its likely hardware (as he said)

if you have an Intel CPU, run https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/19792/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html
if you have an AMD CPU, can you run Prime 95 - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/prime95-download.html

The nvlddmkm.sys file is a NVIDIA graphics card driver. There are a few things you can do to fix this problem. First off, try a full uninstall using DDU in Safe Mode then re-install the driver (more information). Or try getting the latest version of the driver. Or try one of the 3 most recent drivers released by NVIDIA. Drivers can be found here: http://www.nvidia.com/ or you can allow Windows Update to download the driver for you, which might be a older/better version.

There are BIOS updates available for your system. You are using version H0. The latest stable version is HC. I usually recommend avoiding Betas unless there is a specific need for one. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I ran the memtest for around 18 hours overnight and while I was at work, when I checked on it, it said it ran 9 passes and no issues displayed. Considering my RAM seems fine, i'm starting to suspect it's the board.
My specs are
Ryzen 5 3600 w/ stock cooler @ stock clockspeed
ASUS RTX 3070
2 X 8 GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3600MHz CL18 Optimized for AMD
MSI X470 Gaming Plus MAX
Cruxial 240GB SSD
Seagate 2TB HDD
WD 1TB HDD
Corsair 80+ Gold 750W PSU

I already tried to remove all my display drivers using DDU, and nothing changed after doing a clean install. I have not tried the BIOS update however, i'll give it a go. Thanks!

crash 1 mentions audiodg.exe. Its used by windows to talk to sound drivers. Does the Sonar soundcard use steelsries engine to update drivers? have you checked you have latest? I assume your speakers are plugged into it.

When did you run DDU as 3 of the crashes above are Nvidia, where did you get drivers from? One thing to try is run DDU again and instead of getting drivers direct from Nvidia, run windows update and let it find drivers. They will be older Nvidia drivers.

I would download Win10/Win11 Auto Installation Program (NDIS) from under the windows header here - https://www.realtek.com/en/componen...0-1000m-gigabit-ethernet-pci-express-software

Well after multiple days of testing, it seems the BIOS update fixed it. That's something I would have never thought about. Thank you very much for your help!
