Clean install of windows 7 freezing

After formatting all hard drives and installing windows 7 - ultimate my computer keeps freezing at random intervals. I cannot find any reason for it:
I have 2 4gb ram sticks and have tried removing one at a time to see if that helped but the problem continued.
I have checked the event viewer and that looked like a lot of errors are happening all the time (I will attach this is someone can tell me how so you can have a look).
Any advise on why this is happening?

Please define 'freezing'? Is it that the screen gets that stuck and you cant type or move the cursor?
What antivirus are you using? What GPU and drivers are you using? Moreover please post your system spec.

By freezing I mean the monitor, mouse + keyboard become unresponsive. The screen stays exactly how it froze.
