Not sure if this should be posted here or in the storage section.

I am looking to replace the hhd on my Lenovo U430 touch with an m.2 ssd, probably this one:
https://www.amazon.de/Transcend-120GB-SATA-MTS420S-TS120GMTS420S/dp/B076P63R3N/ref=sr_1_4?__mk_de_DE=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=42mm+m.2&qid=1574111519&sr=8-4

I don't need too much room as I will keep all my personal files on the old HDD and have the operating systems and a few installed programs on the SSD.
Now I know it is easy enough to make a fresh install of W10 to the ssd using a usb stick. However is there anything I need to consider around Lenovo drivers? I am thinking along the line of the touch screen especially? Or is it really just a case of disconnecting the old drive and running the installation media to the new drive?

I know I could prob do a clone, but I want to do a fresh install so I don't have all the crap I have acquired over the years.

Clean install is best.
To prepare, just go to the Lenovo site, and find the relevant drivers for your laptop.
Save these on a USB stick.

Then, do the install.

The OS install will give enough drivers to get you up and running.
Later, install the hardware specific ones. Such as for the touchscreen.
