Clean install onto HDD but Windows is already on SSD

I have a 32g SSD that has windows 7 on it. It is constantly running out of space. I want to download and install windows 7 or 10 onto my 1tb HDD and clean out my SSD. I am afraid to do anything until I hear from smarter people such as this community. Thanks in advance!

why would you want to revert from an ssd to an hdd? it just doesn't make sense. and if you keep it on the ssd disable pagefile so you don't kill the drive.

Given that it is a 32GB SSD, I can easily see changing that over.
Win 7 on a 32GB drive is problematic.

Yes, it will be slower. But it will also not be so space limited.
