Question Clean install question

Hi,

Can I do a factory reset on a HP laptop after doing a clean install (resetting it back to the original factory settings)?
Clean install removed every HP app from the laptop and changed some settings I didn't want it to (like software license terms user), but the recovery partition is still there, just not associated with the recovery software.

Not sure why you'd want the HP bloatware back on the thing. If you do, probably just download and install only the stuff you want from the HP download page.

In "winver" the product license under the Microsoft Software License Terms was changed to the new user.
Also the Support part was removed from the About section in System Settings.

"should" does not equal "does".

If it is there, you can recover it back to out of the box condition.
Instructions in your user manual for how to invoke that.

Why you'd want to do that....dunno.

If it is NOT there, you'd have to do that manually.
