Hey guys, recently I found out that my hdd was corrupted and I cannot boot to desktop and I must perform a wipe, what is the easiest way to get my computer running again? It gets in a boot loop but I am able to go into bios please help!

Solution

Yes, mostly.
Also, take the other two drive out (or just disconnect them)
Install your new drive
Power up, with the USB connected.
The system will boot from the USB, allowing you to install the OS on a new drive.
You may have to go into the BIOS to select the boot order.

Went through the process of installing Windows 10 it asked which drive, I chose the ssd and it never told me to take out the usb and then it restarted back to the beginning where I have to select my language

Power off
Remove the USB
Power up
Does it boot?

From the other PC, find the LAN driver for your motherboard
Download that to USB
Install on the other PC with the new OS

Connect each drive one by one.
The theoretical bad one first. Just to see if it is actually bad or what.

Also, verify your boot order in the BIOS. You don't want it trying to boot from that possibly bad drive.

This PC
Right click on Properties
At the bottom, click the activation thing.
What happens?

If it fails, you may have to call MS.

Activation failed because this device doesn't have a valid digital entitlement or product key. Error Code: 0x803F7001

You Upgraded from Win 7 to 10, and basically just switched drives with a new OS install?
No other hardware changes?

It should work. I have done this

As said, you may have to call MS.
