Hi. I bought a PC with Windows 11 Home Basic installed. This worked for a time but then I had problems. I tried an install but left the two SSDs connected. I had a hard drive as a plug-in card VMie I think it is. That did not work so I tried again with the two SSDs disconnected. My problem is, it wanted me to log into Microsoft. The problem with this is under local user I do not have a PIN. This has been a nightmare for me with google Chrome and google password manager. I have to enter a PIN and it keeps getting it wrong where my email address is my user name.
When I bought the PC, the guy in the shop would not have set it up by logging into a MS account. This is what I want to do. I have seen on the internet that if you have a home edition of Windows then you have to log in with an MS account, but the shop owner would not know my account.
I have been told on youTube that I have to disconnect and re-connect the wi-fi (this is a desktop PC anyway with a cable connection). I have to go to a command window and enter netsh interface and type in oobe\bypassnro. Don’t understand any of this. Help please. I don't want to touch this again untill I have all my ducks in a row.
