Hi,

I installed a clean genuine W8.1 and when I try to install the chipset driver I get this error:

PS: I am only able to run the installer in safemode. In normal mode the installer wont even start.

I can add that I removed my laptop monitor since its broken.

Also all other drivers are possible to run without any problem at all including any executable files as well. And yes I tried to install the chipset first before windows update automatically installed gpu drivers etc.

Can it be that my mobo goes nuts since I removed the monitor plug?

I would say reinstall windows again and make sure your internet is disabled/unplugged.
Just make sure your chipset is the very very first thing to install then everything should be ok.

Sometimes you might not need the chipset installed if it finds everything without being connected to the internet.
Because just maybe the windows 8 version might be more recent than what you are using.
