Clean installing windows after Mobo, Cpu and ram upgrade

Hi before I do a clean install of windows I have a couple questions on how to do it. I have windows on a bootable flash drive but I was wondering how to go about remove the old windows before I boot the flash drive. Will me booting the flash drive automatically delete the old windows and reformat my harddrives or do I have to reformat my hard drive and then boot the usb in order to do a clean install?

Yes, you can choose to delete old files and do a fresh install of windows.

It will give you the options after you boot with the flash drive and before it goes through with the install.
