I have a new ssd that I'm going replace the hdd with in a Asus X55A notebook. I notice that Asus doesn't have any Win 10 drivers on the X55A page only Win 8.1. Do I use the Win 8.1 drivers?

I think the X55A has the older legacy bios so am I correct in thinking that I will install Win 10 with a legacy bios - MBR?

Are there any other tips I could have for a Win 10 install onto ssd for a notebook or similar Asus model? I will be pulling all of the data back off from the original hdd so no need to backup...

Solution
Rely on the drivers Win10 finds on it's own(have it connected through wired during setup ideally) and for what's missing you can safely use 8.1 or even 7 ones.
Since it's teh same kernel since Vista, ive actually ran Vista drivers on W10 succesfully for some crap ATI integrated graphics on a very old laptop.

Ok thanks. I will need to format as a MBR for a legacy bios is that right?

Yes, that's your safest ben on that old system.
