Question Cleaning CPU

So I got fingerprints on my new CPU and I gently cleaned it with a damp microfibre cloth. Will this be okay? I didn't even think until it was too late as I researched too late and didn't know to use Isopropyl Alcohol. The CPU doesn't seem wet or damp at all.

That's fine, as long as it's not visibly wet.
