Cleaning dem' TFTs

I used to use windex and paper towels on my old crt, how do you get stuff that wont come off by just by wishing it were gone w/o damage to monitor ?

Use a little bit of rubbing alcohol. Isopropyl ...

Yes, look it up online if you dont believe me. Works on CDR's etc. too. Windex usually has ammonia in it which is bad for plastics.
