Hello there, new in this forum. So I have a problem, almost a week ago I tried to update my gpu drivers through the GeForce Experience app on my laptop, when it finished installing everything it said it failed, and I didn't noticed any improvement; in fact, the graphics were worse. Right now any games that I've tried to play run at 10fps maximum (Overwatch, Fortnite, Firewatch, BioShock Infinite, L4D2, TF2 at 30fps lowering everything down and using a config) I did a little research and I came across a tutorial that recommens doing a cleaning of any drivers from my GPU but in some of those posts they said it could be a little bit risky. My question here is, if I use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) even in safe mode could something happen to my laptop? Or what programs would you recommend, what can I do? I don't want to lose my stuff and at the moment I don't have any external hard drive to save my things, can anybody help me please? Thanks in advance!

TL;DR: tried to update drivers to the latest ones, then to some older releases of 2017 and now everything is worse and I'm not sure what to do (also I have a Lenovo Y50-70 and my graphics card is a GTX 860M)

I honestly don't remember, but it was definitely in a guru3d topic, this is the tutorial I'm trying to do: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Also worth mentioning, I just uninstalled the drivers and I'm getting 100fps in TF2 now, I guess it's doing fine but still gets pretty low (20-30 fps)
