Cleaning PC with antistatic wristband.

If I use an antistatic wristband to clean my PC, can I clean the inside with a brush or there is still a chance that electricity will transfer from the brush to the components and I should use another way to clean it?Sorry for the question, I am just not very much into electricity.Thank you.

Get a can of air, and blow the dust out.

Yea use compressed air is better. I have NEVEr used an Antistatic Wristband in my life and i have NEVER fried anything before (Knock on wood) I do how ever ALWAYS touch some kind of metal before i ever touch parts to de-statictize me.

Well, I intend to use an antistatic wristband.I also have a can of compressed air.However, what's the problem with the brush?Even with the wristband, is it still dangerous?

Naw brushes won't hurt it. if its all plastic there should be any issue with it. But a can of compressed air or even better an Air Compressor should be able to get all the dirt off everything without you needing a brush. Only reason i use a brush is if i take out and clean fans and heat sinks.

Thanks for the response.What about the videocard?Should I also clean the surface with a can of compressed air or with a brush?And also, does electricity come to the brush even when I carry anti-static wristband?

Eh brushes are usually plastic and don't have to worry about it. I'd use canned air on everything. THEN the litting things it can't get off very lighly use the brush on them.
