Question Cleaning Predator Helios 300, how to disconnect cable?

Hi there,

I'm cleaning the fans and changing the thermal paste on my Acer Predator Helios 300 model PH315-53-717r.

There is a cable looped through the heatsink and it looks like it's going up to the monitor. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be removed but I cannot fully disconnect the heatsink and fans with out disconnecting the cable. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you are talking about that wider cable to the right of the fan, yes it can disconnect. Can't really see if it has a latch or anything that needs to be removed first or if it just pulls out. Wiggle it gently and see if it frees up and slides out. Do not force it.
