cleaning the LCD monitor

I used glass cleaner and paper towel and did it softly, is it ok?

Terrible!Just use some special equipment for LCD,your action will damage the protection coat of the LCD.

It's probably fine. But as a general rule, you should never use glass cleaner on your monitor, especially LCD's. Either use a mild soap or just a damp cloth.
