I want to clear my pagefile every shutdown with registry change. But the question is, windows do a wipe (with zero) for pagefile OR just delete its content?

And how about encrypting page file via cmd? Is it effective?

I want to use both ClearPageFile and Page file encryption.

NOTE: Dont recommend me to do full disk encryption to whole disk. Because for some reason I cant do that.

this shows how to clear it (if you ignore their advice about encryption and keep scrolling) - https://www.howtogeek.com/282049/ho...ur-page-file-at-shutdown-and-when-you-should/

I wouldn't download anything from them. like the hack for instance
No, thats not my question. I already know how to clearpagefile..

My question is:

ClearPageFile is wipe page file with zero bytes OR just delete its content without wiping to zero bytes?

And why I cant download their reg file? Any cons or harm?

well, i just give that advice for most sites I link to. I don't know if you should trust it or not. It is your choice.
I would make the registry changes myself but only after backing it up first - https://neosmart.net/wiki/backup-restore-registry/
Oh ok thx for the warning. I actually have tried their clearpagefile script and it works well no problem.. I can confirm

How about pagefile encryption? Know something about its effectiveness?
