Hello everyone!
I am posting on this forum as I dont know what to do anymore...
Normally I resolve any kind of problem I come across on my pc alone and trust me I am not someone who doesnt know what he is doing. With this laptop though I dont know what to do...
So i own the Clevo p670rp(g) laptop for a year now. I bought it slightly used from Ebay and it was fine. ( bought it march of 2018) .
The specs are :
GTX 1060 6 gb
16 gb ddr4
256 ssd + 1 TB HDD ( and now + 500 gb samsung evo ssd )
I7 6700HQ
Trust me the laptop was playing everything you threw at it PERFECTLY and the temperatures were good as well.
I undervolted GPU and CPU just to keep the temps at full load under 70-73 degrees ( since with the proper undervolting you dont lose any performance and you can only help your laptop ).
But one day when i tried to play a game the screen just blacked out. ( that was around November 2018 ).
I was running the laptop on DISCRETE mode that only uses the gtx 1060 and not the integrated gpu of the i7-6700.
I tried to switch to MSHybrid ( that uses the integrated as well ) but instead of Black Screen I got a BSOD with the code
TDR_Video_Failure.
I tried to underCLOCK the gpu and it seems like the problem was kinda solved for a little while. Then it appeared again.
I tried to roll back the Drivers ->Nothing
I tried to reeinstall Windows -> Nothing
I have run through memory tests -> all were fine
I have run through Disks checks -> all were fine
I tried a variety of solutions such as reaaplying thermal paste ( which i already regularly used to do ) , I changed power options settings to performance, I even bought a new SSD just in case it was disk problem, I roll-back the Windows....all with no success.
I handed the laptop over to a PC service here in Greece and they said the laptop was fine.
Now many months after the problem first occured I still havent found out what I should do....
It limits the laptop powers just to surfing etc and its really dissapointing.
One important thing I didnt mention is that i get an error through Event Viewer
I get the Critical KERNEL POWER 41

I seriously dont know what to do....Maybe reball the GPU ? Do you think its driver Related ? ( which would be strange as i have tested it out with different drivers and still get the same results. )
Sometimes even when I start the laptop after the windows load the screen blacks out ( but the laptop doesnt restart ) but now the problem seems to be fixed.
IMPORTANT !!!!!!
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MENTION THAT THE LAPTOP RUNS GAMES FINES ( USING THE GTX 1060 ) WHEN I AM ON BATTERY ! which is strange as well right ?
