So in the beginning I was getting intermittent computer freeze ups. I went thru disck cleanup, Malwarebytes scan, and then loaded CCclean and took care of bad registers, and cleaned again.
Everything was working great for awhile, and then it froze up again. I figured I would check the Nvidia driver update and there was a new update on 4/28. So I updated the driver. Message said updated successfully.
Then I restarted the computer...
It acted as if it was doing nothing. Black screen. Could not use F8 or F1, I tried all of them to get into safe mode. There was absolutely nothing on the screen and I could not hear the drive working either.

So either this is amazing coincidence and something else is wrong with the computer, or something in this driver update killed it.

How can I even boot the computer now?

Oh yeah, I guess I should change my name to 1070 now.

No, I could take out the 1070 (ill get the proper numbers when I get back in) and put my old GTX560 back in. I guess if it comes back on I could uninstall all the nvidia crap.
Is that what you mean. Sorry my knowledge is only superficial.

well i took it in for diagnosis at Microcenter and apparently my motherboard quit.
Here is my system, anyone recommend a new motherboard.
Or should I start a new thread?
