Clicking coming from inside my computer after installing Realtek audio driver

I was having an issue with my motherboard (GA-Z170-Gaming K3) not playing sound through my audio port, so I went to Gigabyte's web page and downloaded the driver for the onboard audio (Realtek HD Audio Driver version 6.0.1.7727). As soon as it finished installing and I restarted my PC, a rapid clicking sound started coming from inside my case. It eventually stops, but it never did that before. I tried uninstalling the driver, but the clicking happens everytime i restart my computer anyway. What is happening here??

First step, find what area the clicking is coming from. If it's the hard drive, replace it.
