clicking on MY COMPUTER takes forever to display.

When I click on "My computer" Icon it takes almost 2 minutes for windows to display the contents. Im talking about showing me the C:/ drive - CD-ROM ect....

What's up with that>? As far as I know, everything else on my computer runs fine.

are you on a network? any mapped drives?
Usually this is from windows looking for mapped drives that cant be found. take awhile for windows to time out looing for them.

Yes, that was the problem, A networked drive that no longer exists. thanks!
