[SOLVED] Clicking sound coming from new PC

Hi everyone,

My new PC arrived today and after using it for a while I started noticing a clicking sound happening every once in a while. I don't know much about computers so I'm not sure if this is a problem or not, but I thought I'd post about it here.

It's not a constant noise, it only happens sometimes, but it is pretty loud when it does happen. Here is a vid of it happening (sorry about the background noise)

The fans seem to all be fine, not seeing anything hitting them.
Also, not sure if this is significant, but the clicking happens more when the PC is under load like when I am gaming, although it also happens sometimes when it is idle too. When I load a game it happens for maybe a minute, then calms down and only happens sometimes.

The only other thing that would be close to making that clicking sound would be the hard drive, and if that is the case it needs to be replaced.

How would I go about doing that? Any good tutorials I can watch? I have never messed with the inside of the PC before.

Some spinning hard drives make more noise than others....especially 7200 RPM drives...

If the cables are long enough, you could remove the drive, and set it on your desktop to listen to it, and see if the noise is just actually loud normal scratching noises associated with some drives, vs. a 'click of death'...

You can also run a GsmartControl long self-test on the drive, and check CrystalDiskInfo for signs of issues...

Couldn't make out the sounds from the recording, but is it coming from the speakers or the actual hardware itself?

Because if the clicking sounds come from the speakers, it reminds me of an issue I had with the onboard soundcard and Ubuntu:
