Question Clients cannot download files

Hello,

I can download files normally through the browser but as soon as I download a client, start the client and the program itself has to download some files I am getting error messages like "Download Failed" or "Cannot connect to go.microsoft". The clients are all different. Either a client from a casino site or a VPN client, both struggle downloading further files.

I tried turning off my firewall and virus security from Windows 10 but nothing works.

What could cause this issue?

But it works on another device (laptop). So that is odd? Its just blocked on my PC.

So for example a poker client from a casino or simply a VPN client (ProtonVPN). They are both downloaded through my chrome browser but when I want to install them (and both need to do some downloading before truly installing it), it seems to get blocked.

A poker application may well block VPN access completely.
Not much you can do about that.

You misunderstood me. It works on my laptop, just not on my PC. And I dont use VPN for this but I simply am trying to install two different clients.
