Ok. I have been playing Rise of Flight a lot, so much that I am slower on BF3 because I haven't really been playing it. I tried Wings of Prey a few times and I feel it looks great but it has too much of an arcade feel. I heard good and bad about Cliffs of Dover but I have a solid rig with two 680s in SLI so I'm hoping I can near max it in 5760X1080. I read on a forum from April last year that they were working on a SLI fix. Has anybody been playing this "sim" lately and how is it running in SLI if you have been playing it?

Thank you.

the game is seriously broken. i cant get a playable frame rate on my 5870 which is above recommended and way above minimum requirements. but even on medium low i cant get a solid 30 fps... they said it was down to bad LOD optimization but the reality is the game is just badly put together. as for bf3 using C.O.Dover as practice would be a waste of time as bf3 flight mechanics are arcade based not flight sim based...
yeah its got the basics of pitch and roll but thats about it. you would be better off joining an empty server jumping in a plane and practicing. it what most of us do...
also get a joystick or a pad. a stick makes control a lot easier.

I'm not comparing BF3 to a sim, I'm just saying I'm rusty from barely playing the last few weeks. Thanks for the Il-2 input.
