Hi. on the top left of the screen in powerpoint, click on Edit. In the list click on Office clipboard and the clipboard will appear on the right hand side. The clipboard is a place where you can store information that you copy to put somewhere else. You will find the copy command in the Edit list. To put what you have copied somewhere,you select the item and use the paste command which is also in the edit list.
