Dear people,

i have a BSoD/freeze issue with my home made pc,
The BSoD is described as a Clock Watchdog Timeout and i have had this problem ever since i swapped CPU and Motherboard.
The problem occurs when im streaming, sharing screens or stress-testing the CPU, however the CPU is not overheating (atleast i dont think so since it is 72C maximum)

Im running on windows 10 (x64) home edition (clean install)
Specs:
Motherboard: Asus Crosshair V Formula Z
CPU: AMD FX9590
GPU: Inno3D GeForce GTX 960 2GB Ultra

Please help

If it were me I'd assume that the motherboard swap did not cause win10 to reinstall all of the right drivers. I'd ask windows to reset which leaves your data but completely reinstall windows. The downside of this is that all installed programs are hidden away in a "windows.old" folder along with their metadata. When I refreshed my PLEX server it took me a while to find all of the plex metadata. Look at this link at the 'reset' instructions : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12415/windows-10-recovery-options

I think the MB website...
Excuse me for my late response, i was kind of busy,
i tried to install my AMD chipset drivers but since i got an nvidia graph card it wont allow me to do so.
i quote "Error 173 - AMD Installer cannot continue since AMD graphics hardware was not found."
i have failed to find any other method so far, bios is updated (that was one of the first things i did) and pc has been formatted a week ago.

EDIT: found the disc that came with my motherboard and the chipset drivers only support windows 8 or lower

Something is wrong. The chipset drivers do not care what kind of video card you have. Double check you loaded the correct drivers for your MB. Easiest way might be to LIVE CHAT with ASUS support on their website.

drivers for MB are for windows 8, windows 10 chipset drivers are not available from ASUS's website and AMD only lets me install if i have an AMD GPU aswell, and im running my Nvidia GTX 960

I think the MB website does not have drivers because they are built into win 10.

Good Luck.
