To get the max out of it you'll need to study a bit, overclock is easier nowadays but while you can get away with an average oc just messing with the CPU multiplier/ratio and some vcore, some other stuff helps with going further.
regardless, you can right off the bat set your Vcore on bios to 1.35v and start raising the cpu ratio multiplier to 40, it should be 36. test that out first.
I assume you wanna overclock, first off, what kind of cooler are we talking here? what you said there isn't very clear.
Second, basically, you need to check your temps to begin with, use HWMonitor for that, if you can manage a decent overclock with whatever cooler is that one you need to get a new one.
