Hi,
Just a few questions about graphics cards in general. How important are the core and memory clock speeds? What "function " do they perform? Is the amount of memory in the card more important than the clock speeds?
Will the current 128MB cards(Radeon 9600 Pro, GeForce FX5200 Ultra etc.) be able to handle the latest games for the next year or so? Or do you think buying a 256MB will have more long-term value(here I am actually referring to the minimum specs required for games)?
As an aside, will buying more system memory, say from 512MB to 1024MB RAM, compensate for reduced graphics card memory?
Thanks
