[SOLVED] Cloing to larger HD in Acronis 2012

I have Acronis 2012 - works, but Cloning from 250gb to 2T eliminates hard drive space. 3 times using: Proportional and "move" and "manual" all only "Copy" the partition from old drive, rendering the 2tb to only 250gb!! How do I clone or copy the 250gb HD to 2T and maintain the extra HD space?

That should result in a large Unallocated space on the target HDD.
You should be able to Extend the C partition into that empty space.

Show us a screencap of your Disk Management window.

Also, before you do any extending, etc...have you verified that the system boots from the new drive by itself? That is a critical step, often missed.
