Clone does not work

I got a 1tb hdd in my computer. The hdd has 2 partitions. One partition has my os and applications on and the other one all my games and videos. Just got a 120gb ssd and want to boot from that ssd. I used macrium reflect free to clone the partition with my os and apps on. After the clone I plugged the ssd into a sata port and went into bios and selected the ssd as my number 1 boot option. After saving my changes and rebooting I got a message telling me " Reboot and select a proper boot device" . Any solutions to my problem??

How large was the partition with your OS and apps on it? It wasn't too large was it?

Also...you aren't trying to boot from USB are you?

no i double checked in the bios it says Hard disk : kingston... It is like 90 gb and the ssd is 120 gb

It should have a hidden boot partition on the hdd
