Clone HDD to a different RAID PC

Hello,
I am working in a medical center

Now, all patients files are stored in a desktop PC (server), in which all other PCs are connected through the work network

The program that we use in archiving and reading medical files installed on the (server). All other PCs have this (program client)

Now, they think to buy a better desktop PC (new server) and using RAID 0 to ensure data will not be lost. (No more space for files and paper)

The main problem is that we don't have the original files of the program to install on the new computer
So, can we clone (not copy) the old HDD (old server) into new HDD (new server) and being RAID?

RAID 0 is the opposite of ensuring that data will not be lost, it doubles your chance of losing data because there is no redundancy or backup.

What kind of medical center does not keep backups of the server and copies of the programs they need? I think you need a real IT department.

Hire a person to do the migration for you, there is no way any business will do this without professional help unless you want to lose your records.

Sorry, but this is wrong on so many levels.

Please...I strongly urge you to hire someone that actually knows what they are doing.

1. Yes, it is RAID 1 not 0
2. My question was in ENGLISH, if it possible or not? I am just asking and not giving a lecture. I am "almost sure" that you understand my English well
3. What are the other wrong levels?

This is highly unlikely to actually work.

There are many things that can be answered in a forum such as this.
This is not one of them.

We know nothing about your architecture or software stack, either before or after.

(and RAID 1 is not a backup either)

I am not taking any risk
I will do nothing

All "IT companies" encourage us to use their "new" software, and forget the old one
This means all the previous data will be lost in any way
They said you can use hard copies that we already have for all patients
