Got a question i use my hp burner to read anwrite cd`s with clonecd. Only recently i have begun backing up my games, well the ones i play a lot and require the cdrom.
Clonecd supposedly should make exact copies. only this isnt the case. for example Colin mcrae rally 2 .. I copied it susccesfully with clonecd or so i thought. The game installed fine.. Then i treied to play with the CDrom but it wouldent start. So the only thing i can do is use the original Cd or download a nocd patch. a friend of mine owns a plextor (dont know which one) and made a copy of the cd and it worked jsut fine. No problems whatsoever.. according to the clonecd site my HP should be able to do the same but apperently it does not. Also i ahev a pioneer 6x dvd drive which may be able to read the copy protected games aswell anyone got any experience with dvd-drives and reading copy protected game cd`s ?
Hey man i dont know .. i just think i do !!
