Hi folks....
I have standardized on the consumer and server grade Samsung solid state hard drives. On the PC side, I enjoy the free Samsung cloning software as well as the free Samsung Magic software that always lets me know when I need a firmware update for the drive, and it will also over prevision the drive for me, plus a few other things.
Now I need to clone a mechanical hard drive in a Mac laptop running either Snow Leopard or one or two versions newer OS. I can make my way around a Mac OS (sort of) , but do not know how to clone a Mac hard drive.
Can I do this with just the OS? And if so, how? Perhaps someone knows of a web link you can post that will show me how to do this?
Also, if you know of some free or inexpensive software I can buy or down load, that would also be helpful.
I am waiting for the user to send me to exact OS version he is running.
Any advice, links or advice much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
mraroid
