So I have a 1Tb hard drive containing my games, media etc. and an 500Gb ssd which contains my windows. I want to get rid of the ssd on this system, the plan is to clone my ssd into a partition on my hard drive. Windows reinstallation isn't an option.

So is there any kind of tool that I can use to clone my operating system to unallocated parition?

I've read other threads discussing this same thing, downloaded the software they were talking about, but none of those have this feature, or at least those are not free.

So in short. I want to clone my windows paritions (windows, recovery etc.) from drive A to drive B's partition.

No; the boot partition has to be the first partition. The boot partition is not necessarily your C: partition.

What I believe you would have to do is image the hdd to an external or another drive completely.
Clone the SSD to the HDD, wiping the existing HDD partitions in the process.
Power off & remove SSD.
Reboot
Restore the "HDD Image" to the unallocated space of the HDD.
