I will get my new XPG SX950U 960gb tomorrow and I wonder if I should clone my Windows 10 and some software like Lightroom from my old SSD Crucial M500 (that I will keep)
So it's more or less the same Reading speed between these 2 SSD but 230mb/s for the old Crucial M500 to 480~520mb/s for the Adata XPG.
So will Windows and software load faster?

Solution

There is no 'pick and choose'. You can't do "some software".
And there is REALLY nothing that will do "only Windows".

Reduce your actual used space, then clone it.
Uninstall some applications, move or delete other things...

There are no software to transfert Windows 10 from a disk to another without the whole partition?
I don't want to put already 200gb on my new SSD, I need some space for new games

Uninstall the software you don't want to transfer first. Then reinstall it to another drive afterwards, if you just didn't want it on the new SSD. If you simply don't want it installed on the SSD. Most software simply can't be moved around.

Is the Windows booting speed read or write related?
I mean between the old and new SSD the difference in read speed in negligible while in write mode there is a difference

"boot time" is a poor measurement of drive performance or choice.
But overall, the new XPG is a "better" drive than the elder crucial.
