just setup a new rig with this mobo.
the onboard audio is Realtek ALC887 .
installed the driver comes with the media included. online ver is far more outdated, and only avail in different country of realtek site.

the problem is the sound volume is not consistent at different apps.
the sound is quite loud when i play game - deep rock galatic, with external volume control set at 25
but the sound is very low when playing vermintide 2 - need to set external volume at 35
its also lower in other games like swtor - need to set external volume at 30

google shows results about turn on setting "loud equalize".
i have this option in prev mobo, but not on current mobo and the software provided.

anyone has similar issue? able to resolve it?

i found the "loudness equalization" in the realtek app, it is in the program menu, just use the window search to look for it.
it's probably got installed when i installing those mobo stuffs come with the cd. i chk the version, it's still the latest as at this time.

in past, this option is avail at the windows settings, now, for my case, this only available at the app setting, which is not loaded at startup as prev gen of app. just need explicitly look for this app, run it, and turn on that option.

the sound is now better as standardize across all apps.
