Clothiers of Vivec and the Ascadian Isles
- by Three Ears Long
Vivec is the largest city in Vvardenfell. So, one
naturally expects to find fine clothing there. For
once, one's expectations are met. Agrippina in the
Foreighn Quarter has a good variety of nice clothing,
as does Mevure in the Saint Olms District. There
are also many traders that deal in clothing--particularly
in the Hlaalu, Foreign, Telvanni and St. Olms Districts.
There are also alchemists, smiths, booksellers and
a variety of craftsmen of all sorts.
The rest of the Ascadian Isles are filled with
rolling plantations. Smuggling is rife here.
Drugs. Strange Ash Statues. Slaves. There are,
however, many ownerless items of clothing and
armors of all sorts scattering the Dren plantation.
One can find samplings of all armors, from chitin
to daedric. It is important at all times to be one's
best. And to be one's best, one must feel one's best.
And to feel one's best, one must be dressed one's
best. And to be dressed one's best requires fine
clothing and matching armor. So it is important to
have all sorts of armor available so that one can
always get good color coordination with a variety
of clothes.
Lately, I have been having difficulty with color
coordination. Different enchantments from different
types of magic have their own hues. These hues change
the colors in what was previously a well-matched outfit.
This poses a serious delima for the well dressed
enchanter who wishes variety in their assortment of
magical effects.
